The vast majority of countries out there offer a variety of visas. While student and work visas are the most common, and schemes like golden real estate visas and digital nomad visas have grown in popularity over the years, there is also no shortage of unique visa options.
These visas give foreigners alternative ways to remain in the country. Some can lead to permanent residency or citizenship, while others are gateways to securing a job. Instead of focusing on the more traditional avenues of visa entry, I thought today we’d take a look at some of the more unique visa entries scattered about the world. So, if you are not old enough yet to apply for a retirement visa, don’t have the cash for a real estate investment visa, or you don’t have a remote gig that lets you apply for a digital nomad visa, perhaps you can consider one of these alternatives.
