Absolutely. Critique away. But once it turns into bullying and being rude, I'm done. There are far other publications and editors that wouldn't do that, so we don't need to deal with rudeness.

And yeah, boosted is odd. It is so much dependent on that one person who reads it first. Heck, I've even had an editor tell me they were going to boost an article...and then not do it. So who knows.
