Argentina is kind of a case unique to itself. Currently inflation is wild. At close to 145%. But the value of the dollar has stayed even to inflation. And with the country routinely devaluing its currency, the dollar becomes stronger. I pay $1K for all my monthly expenses here (rent, food, utilities, medical services) and always have money left over. That leaves me plenty of money to pay down student loans and such. Argentina is affordable for just about everyone that isn't earning the Argentine peso. Brazilians (not wealthy ones) are even moving here while they work remote for their Brazilian companies.
