If I had a dollar for every time I heard that line I could pay off my student loans. Everyone has said it. Heck, Cher once said it. Sure, nobody believed she’d leave Malibu for Saskatoon, but still, people like to say it.

That they’d leave the country if someone they didn’t like won an election.

Maybe even you have said it.

I’m not saying you should pack up the stick and bindle and hop on the next train heading out of town if the election doesn’t go your way.
