Cookbooks — My Favorite Travel Souvenirs (Video)
Wherever I go, I grab a cookbook.
I’m back for my second week of videos. I’m still a bit in my show-and-tell phase. But I don’t often get the chance to show off some of the things I’ve picked up along the way, so I wanted to share them with you.
Today, it’s all about cookbooks. Sure, I turn to online recipes just like the next person, but if you’ve ever visited another country and then tried to track down the authentic recipe later, you know just how impossible that is.
It’s also why I do what I can to buy cookbooks wherever I go. I can’t always share my experiences, but at least I can share the food. So, I hope you enjoy a little insight into the cookbooks I’ve picked up over the few years living in South America (with one book from Europe).
I’m hoping you are enjoying these weekly videos. Eventually I’ll move away from the show-and-tell and branch out to other topics, but as I’m not able to show many people in person some of these things, I thought this would be fun.
