First off, thanks for being a big fan ;) As for your question, yes, I make my money through writing. Now, I've been writing freelance since around 2009, soooo it's been a while. I have some independent clients I write for (some ghost work so I can't really say who, specifically). I do some work for various platforms and a few online travel magazines as well (like Lonely Planet and Fodors, for example). If you're looking to do something similar my biggest word of advice is to try and spread around clients and work. Internet work, specifically writing, is so fluid. One line of work/income can dry up without much warning. Even Medium is pretty unpredictable.

Basically, the more revenue streams you can cobble together the better. You can toss YouTube and TikTok into this mix.
