Ha, I'm not sure if I've heard someone say that one here. I'll have to try it out. What I think is hilarious here is more people wear NY hats than anywhere else I've ever been in the U.S (and many have no clue it's a baseball team logo).

But you're right, no cargo shorts. Although, strangely enough, cargo pants and baggy jeans are starting to become more and more popular with women here. It's like I've been sucked back into the mid 90s all over again!
