Hey there, Patti. First, thanks for the compliments! As for your questions about softening the signs of aging, it is significantly more affordable down here. Beyond surgeries, laser facials are a great option. As someone that lived in the desert of Arizona for 5 years (and didn't use the kind of sunscreen I should have been), I had a lot of skin damage. At a local dermatologist I would pay about $70 for 3 different laser facials that would run around $1K in the US. I've heard good things about Co2 facials...I haven't looked into those in Argentina but I'd guess those probably have similar price savings. And if you're someone that uses/would consider using Botox, injections are about 1/4-1/5 the price in the US (I even have platelet rich plasma treatments, or PRP, done around my scalp for $30 a pop...that stuff can cost a few grand per session in the US). I don't know the costs of clinics in Colombia and Mexico (Turkey is a good option as well), but I would suggest going to one location and having all the cosmetic, dental, and prescriptions you might want done over a week's time. It's a great way to save A LOT of money, even when traveling to a different country...maybe I'll write something about what it's like going to the doctor/having procedures done in a foreign country.
