Hi, SC. Thanks for reading and responding. I’ll admit it’s strange going to weddings now. I think in the back of my mind I can’t help but feel cynical and jaded (I think because I wasn’t able to fully take in and enjoy my own, as if in a strange way I was robbed of that experience). And I agree, if marriage is ever a possibility later in my life I’d much rather just elope and have it just be the two of us. The window dressing of a wedding isn’t needed.
