I want to give you more of what you connect with.
Medium is a fine platform.
Until it’s not.
I’m able to provide you with raw, personal stories that are sometimes hacked and shredded like jungle vines.
Or, to take a reference from my childhood, like Jack Nicholson’s Joker painting all over murals and statues in the 1989 Batman movie (I wore out my VHS tape rewinding and dancing to this scene with my older sister growing up).
When running through some publications, what you end up reading has been marked and cut, and painted on, in the hopes of softening edges and vanillafying the content.
Problem is, life isn’t rounded edges. There’s plenty of sharp moments capable of cutting deep if you’re not careful.
And yes, of course, I can self publish and connect with you. But you may miss some of those self-published articles. And that one you miss could be the one you’d connect with the most.
