I think that first marriage, especially if you're younger...we have no clue how we are supposed to feel. With so much hoopla around a wedding it's almost like it's destined to fail under unreal expectations. I heard a woman say her wedding was just her and her husband on a street in New York, outside of the coffee shop they went to on their first date. To me (now), that sounds so much better...and the coffee shop would have trash cans for you, just in case (I didn't make it a year either).
