I love Singapore. I know some people don't like it...think it's too sanitized, which I get. But for me I thought it was great, and as you said, the food hawker centers give some great bang for the buck. Where else can you get a Michelin Star meal for under $10?

Unfortunately, the women renting out babies is a thing in many places. I'm in Argentina and I see that a lot. The women are almost like pimps how they send the kids out to gather money. It's why I prefer to just give the kids something to eat. Don't know who will end up with the money, but at least I know the kid will have a full stomach.
