I'm going to push back in two minor ways. First, I don't think coffee in Europe is "better." It's espresso....and for me I hate a diluted espresso (for an Americano). A properly made cup using South American beans (aka not Starbucks), for me is far superior. And second, which is something that kind of baffles me, is that many locations around Europe don't let you work on a computer in a cafe (or you have to pay an hourly fee)...which is kind of ironic with how long people sit around tables and just talk in Europe. Naturally, it's all personal preference...I'd much rather have the European locale with a Colombian brewed black coffee.
