I'm not saying things might not get better under the current president...hopefully they do. But for the average person, every single thing the new president has done has hurt them. Monthly inflation has doubled, poverty has skyrocketed. Metro prices have jacked up, utility costs are surging. Rental protections have been stripped. In 2 months, nothing is better and everything is worse for the average citizen.
Besides, the purpose of this article was not to argue about the possible merits of whether the economy will get better. It was to point out the flaws of content creators saying "Argentina is cheaper now than ever before." Wrong. Things are more expensive now (both for locals and for people earning a foreign currency) than in ages.
Trust me. I hope things get better for locals. They don't deserve this mess. But since taking office, there hasn't been a single change that has been made to help the average resident...and if that doesn't change soon violent crimes will begin to skyrocket as fewer people will be able to afford to live.
