Who hasn’t dreamed of hopping around the Caribbean?

Spending some time on one island before hopping onto a boat and setting sail to the next one. You could live out your pirate lifestyle.

Legally, of course.

It’s somewhat possible to do that on tourist visas if you don’t mind staying on one island for one to three months, but that’s a lot of shuffling around, and it doesn’t let you truly dive head-first into the culture.

Thankfully, there’s a better way.

The Caribbean is ripe with digital nomad visas (DNV). The majority of islands that aren’t British, French, or Dutch overseas territories have DNVs (and even a few of those offer visas as well).

In reality, you could spend a good 15 years or more sailing between different islands using DNVs before starting all over again. Or, if you fall in love with one of the islands, there’s a good chance it has a golden visa option as well.
