It was such a mess. And finding airlines that would handle a pit was almost more challenging. On top of that, a lot of countries are on a "high rabies" CDC watch list, and coming back from one of those countries is verrrrrrry difficult. So I had to cross a ton of options off the list (with the pit/rabies countries I think there were about 4 or 5 options in all of the Western Hemisphere).
