It's okay to say you don't understand something.

What is the purpose of writing about city slums? I've been to them. So what? Should I write about the slums in SanFran or Baltimore? What would writing about Millie do? Hard to say someone IS worse when they haven't started yet. All of my points are complete and valid. US healthcare is exorbitantly expensive. I'm more likely to get shot in a US school than one of those slums you mentioned here. An apartment in the middle of nowhere in the US if $1500. That's more than all my bills combined in Argentina. The inflation here doesn't impact me, so why should I write about it? My life is infinitely better since leaving the US. The point wasn't where I moved to. It's that life is better on the other side.
