It's really terrible the stuff that's allowed in US food. I mean, red dye #3 was banned from cosmetics in the US like 40 years ago for being unsafe...yet it can remain in food.
Home baked bread is a wise decision. Especially using European wheat. After reading more about pretty much the entire US corn/wheat supply and the chemicals used it's made me want to never eat any of that again.
