I've talked with a few people about Wise. It's an option, especially because it's available with multiple currency options (and it can be helpful for larger currency transfers...like real estate situations), but there's often still some kind of a fee attached (even though it's smaller than a traditional bank). In terms of zero ATM fees when you need quick cash I haven't found anything that fully competes with Schwab. But Wise is for sure something to keep in mind.
