If you’re reading this it’s because you’ve taken the time out of your busy day to read other works of mine and have decided to follow my profile.

First of all, I just want to let you know how meaningful that is to me. The fact that you’d read my work and often comment really means a great deal. We may have even shared a few back and forths in the comments section (and if I missed some of yours I’m sorry. I don’t mean to. Sometimes I see a comment on my phone and then forget when I’m on my desktop).

I’m willing to bet that you came across one of my stories that directly connected to you. It was raw, emotional, and yet similar to an experience you’ve had in your own life. I’ve long tried to make sure I don’t sugar coat anything. I want to present life, warts and all because that’s life.

The thing is you may have noticed some changes of late.

I was told specifically to stop writing about those kinds of subjects.

Additionally, and I’m paraphrasing a bit here, but I was told to dumb down other content and walk readers through how it relates to them.
