Not much you can do about US taxes. Always going to have to pay federal taxes. BUT, the US does have tax agreements with many nations, so if you pay foreign taxes, that is taken out of what you have to pay the US, so you won't be double-taxed. Important to look into this before moving (one of the reasons I decided against pursuing Peru, as there wasn't a tax agreement at the time).
