Oh, I went through my own backslide after. Thankfully I wasn't in tooooooo deep (several years together is long, but things can always be worse). It's been a good 14+ years now. I think we own heal in our own ways. People often ask if it's healing to write this stuff. While I wouldn't say it's healing, it does help give perspective. And nothing wrong with marrying at 62. True love is worth the wait (even if we'd like it sooner).
