Righty, I generally never eat in an airport either. Sometimes long layovers I'll get a snack...although most of my travel is in South America and prices are at least reasonable. I will typically take advantage of lounge access for the Internet and a few cups of coffee.

The AF flight was about 14 hours. Paris to Buenos Aires. They fed us right after takeoff, but then nothing until about 90 minutes prior to landing. Honestly I didn't even see anyone on the staff for most of the 9 hours without any service. Which was odd because we left at around 9 AM, so we flew though lunch and into the evening without any services.
