Slovakia is affordable, but I left it off because it's significantly more expensive than the locations I covered (I wasn't considering EU/non-EU...only exclusively the cost of living). Moldova is the cheapest country in Europe outside of Kosovo (or 41st most expensive), while Slovakia is 28th (based on the world cost of living index) Totally not arguing that it isn't affordable. I just wanted to focus on the cheapest of the cheap.
