Thailand's is different. They don't have a digital nomad visa in that sense. They have a long term resident visa with a $80K minimum requirement (unless you have a Master's Degree...then you only need to make $40K). And that is good for 10 years (and is renewable). So while yes, they only want wealthier/educated individuals for this program, at least you get some quality time allowance. My biggest issue with the Japanese DNV is it only gives 3 extra months above what a tourist visa offers. That's a lot of extra time/money/paperwork/headaches for just 90 more days.
