That is so true. Even if I wanted to move back I don't know if I could. I return to the US about once a year to visit family. This last visit, I couldn't believe the prices. Every little trip to the grocery store to pick up the things not easily purchased in South America (like vitamins and such) would almost always cost over $100 (how did vitamin C, a Star Wars t-shirt and a dog toy cost $125?). $100 gets me through two weeks in Argentina. I think people are paying more for their car payments/auto insurance than I do on all my monthly expenses combined. There are things I do miss...but I enjoy having an actual life more.
