The immigration chart is a little misleading. Realistically it's probably better to go off of percentage than total number. Because while just under 10% of the US population would be considered an immigrant in this graph, more than 10% of the populations of Peru and Colombia are made of of immigrants (mostly from Venezuela, and mostly in a shorter period of time). Percentage. In fact, if you base it off percentage, the USA isn't even top 15. When pulling back, immigration isn't a uniquely US situation...although the US loves to pretend it is.
