They went into excessive detail about what it was. Too much detail. They would spend several minutes on the altitude and origins of a various seed and how it blends with a random nut before mixed with the processed liquid of a root. Each step on the tasting menu came with a 5 minute description about things you've never eaten before and will never eat again. It's like having someone read you the ingredients of a Twizzler. One or two ingredients might sound familiar, but the next thirty they might as well be making up.
