Well...I am formulating plans on where to move to next. But really, I don't think Argentina had much of a choice. The other option was the current Minister of Finance...who has overseen 150% inflation. What worries me more about the incoming president isn't his plan to switch Argentina to the dollar or get rid of the central bank, but he wants to get rid of the cabinet positions that oversee education, public health, and women's rights. He also wants to make it easier to get guns (in a country with 40% of the population living under the poverty line I see that as a disaster), and he wants to make it legal to sell your own organs, something only Iran does. So, to give you kind of a long-winded answer, I think he very much could help the financial situation in Argentina, but there's going to likely be some serious downsides to it. (and it's why I've been looking at other countries I can take my pit bull dog to, because that in itself gets complicated).
