Yeah, exactly. You don't know how they saw you or looked at you. And you look back at the times everyone knew but you. I didn't necessarily blame them for not saying anything (in that instance they were her friend/work mates)...it was just humiliating. Not sure if you still work with each other, but maybe it's best if you just cut ties (I'm sure telling him instead of just disappearing would feel better). But I'd have to believe there would be some relief at the end of it for you.
