Yeah...I don't have much faith in Italy passing its digital nomad visa anytime soon. Thankfully there are plenty of other options around Europe or the Adriatic Sea. Czech Republic and Albania have some beautiful coastline north of Greece and really affordable nomad visas as well (Spain has a decent visa, but you instantly have to pay taxes into it).
