Yeah, it's crazy back in the US. Every time I return (about once a year) I feel less and less desire to move back. And really the job thing is the most difficult part. But with soooo many jobs going fully remote even that is easier now. Loads of countries now offer digital nomad visas with relatively low monetary requirements. Heck, you can qualify for Spain residency after five years on that visa. As you said, totally doable!
