Yes, there are a few things I do miss. The slowing down is part of it. And I don’t think I’ve abandoned my belief system. More just feel burned by the people. Which is a pretty bad reason to stop, honestly (I don’t stop liking a sports team when there are jerk fans). I would like to be right about there being something greater than us, but if I’m not I’m not. Had someone the other day ask why have any part of religion when there’s no guarantee it’s right. I told them it’s kind of like love. Do you ever really know if you’re actually with the right person? Not really. But it doesn’t stop you from loving.
